was initiated by 2 Italians in 1999,
Antonio & Andrea Pelino, that organized their innovative
all day
after-parties in a former airport hangar at a stone,s throw from
the runway of the airport of
Ibiza,
every Monday morning from June to October, filled with their favorite
underground
techno.
This club, looks like a great hall, situated literally right on the
runway of Ibiza,s airport and the adjacent parking lot is only a dry
sandy plain.
It were
carnivalesque Parties filled with their favorite
underground house techno tunes
by their resident DJs, but which over the years, also attracted many
world famous DJs (sometimes even spinning the decks free of charge)
simply because they were very happy to stand in the DJ booth.
Although the music is full of incredibly
hard beats one could
hear the noise of descending aircraft regularly top out and one could
heard the dancing crowd roar and thereafter the party continues as if it
was the most natural thing in the world.
Yet this club is immensely popular with dance fans and the local
residents of the island.
DC 10 has 2
dance floors and a
terrace that you must see!
There is a covered terrace with a side room where about 1,500
partygoers fit, but you do not go there for the decorations -
the club is well-known for the crazy
CircoLoco parties on Mondays.
Be prepared for the most
mysterious guests, underground techno and the
wildest atmosphere on
the island.
The motto of these parties is: EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED, WELCOME to
the crazy circus
- with solid DJs Jo Mills,
Cirrillo and
Loco Dice, which guarantee a great party,
Important reason for this popularity is that
DC 10, as the only
IBIZA CLUB, always kept the entrance fee low, especially
compared to other clubs in
Ibiza.
The other reason that people love in this club so much, is their
choice of parties, of which Mondays
Circo Loco, the biggest attraction is.
Once, they started in an old
finca, with unknown DJs every Monday morning (who makes up
such a thing?) With their completely insane club parties
where visitors totally lost it. Stage diving, giant inflatable
aircraft and DJs
with rubber masks, it
already is done some time ago, but they constantly invent other
stupid things to entertain their audience.
The audience, in return, dress up as extravagant as possible to
enlighten the party even more.
In this club always flows an exceptional energy as the hall
itself seems to be having fun and anticipation.
None of the visitors has trouble with the fact that you have to
push your arms in the air to dance.
The outside world seems to completely disappear and people get
all out of it.
The former line ups
showed names like: Luciano,
Josh Wink, Ricardo Villalobos, Tania Vulcano,
Fabrizio, Mirko, Matt John, Lazy Fat People, Matthew Dear, Matthias Tanzmann, Dady Jack, Magda, Davide Squillace, Dinky and Timo Maas
and of course, many of them will join the party this season.
Of course these
events also attract the rich & famous,
as in
P. Diddy, never
averse to a party, bodyguards or not.
Another regular
and successful party for many years now, is
Superfreq, with the British
Mr. C.
The entrance
fee for these parties is only 10 euros and that is an absolute exception to
Ibiza.
The guests were
no less over the last years. Present were: Adultnapper, Alexi Delano, Konrad
Black, Tim Sheridan, Martin Landsky, Layo & Bushwacka,
Jamie Jones, Jennifer Cardini, Phonique and
M.A.N.D.Y,
2007
DC 10 IBIZA ,
in the winter of 2007, commissioned by the authorities, had to
place a seal between the walls and roof
2008
for
DC 10 IBIZA this was a year of many challenges, and imposed
closures, for violating the then authorized maximum number of 65
visitors.
2009
DC 10 IBIZA,
was one of the
Ibiza clubs that were suddenly and unannounced, closed by
the authorities at the beginning of the summer season of 2009.
The authorities claimed that many illicit drugs were used.
It was a very frustrating period for the clubs fans.
DC 10 IBIZA
in 2009, immediately reopened its doors after the expiry of the
penalty period, which included a fine of 300,000 euros and one
year closure, they now prepared for a SPECIAL OPENING / CLOSING
PARTY on 6 October 2009.
2010
DC 10
IBIZA
finally a full season of the most favorite party nights in
Ibiza. With CIRCO LOCO from Monday 31st May till 4th October 2010,
and a set of PANDEMONIUM nights and one-off events.
2011
Was a succesful
year for with From Disco
to Techno parties on Wednesdays and PANDEMONIUM on
Fridays.
Meanwhile, a
DC 10 in
Barcelona, exists for some time now and a cooperative has
been formed by CTI COLLECTIVE and CTI MADRID.
Rumors have not stopped over the past years but everyone is
excited about the upcoming 2012
CircoLoco Opening Party, PANDEMONIUM Fridays and just
announced Thursdays with Jamie Jones.

authorities in 2011, which means that the club immediately will be closed as
the number of visitors exceeds 200........ the official number for
which the club permit was issued.

Than Stupid, formed by Martin Buttrich, Davide Squillace &
Matthias Tanzmann was born in 2010 during a B2B set but started
growing in 2012 when Buttrich, Tanzmann and Squillace decided
that a B2B show doesn’t manifest their full potential and
started mixing their ideas, talent and passion in the studio.
Prepare for the French invasion where close alies Shonky, Dan
Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom launch their new imprint –
Apollonia in which they share the same roots, tastes &
musical vision, focussing on releasing their own music, and any
producers they all enjoy. APOLLONIA Label serves as a platform
for the trio,s productions, representing new beginnings based on
a solid family that already helped shaping the underground house

present a peculiar concept of Underground Pop & Contemparary
